Deadlines, Housekeeping and General Stuff
Many of you may have noticed a pattern here, but as I never came out and said what I’d be posting when; I thought I’d clarify things a bit. Mondays are my general Diary messages, thoughts on life / management and hopefully a few insights into the world of a Guardian Angel. I’m pretty good at sticking to my Monday posts it would appear, so hopefully I’ll be able to stay regular.
Wednesdays and Fridays are my case notes days. I’ll try to add a few more over time, but it’s tricky to find interesting characters when so many of them are just regular people. It’s especially tricky as interesting characters take up so much more time than regular folks, leaving me little time to write up the sanitized versions of their lives.
The last thing I want to do is let you find out I’m talking about your neighbour struggling with his alcohol addiction.
I’m pretty bad at Fridays, that’s partly because work builds over the week, and partly because weekends are a horrendous mess in terms of keeping people on the straight and narrow. Just imagine what most of you get up to on a Friday night, and then try to imagine what it takes to keep everyone from getting away with that. It’s not my job to stop them doing something awful, just to teach them that it was awful when they do it, so they hopefully don’t do it again. Just making sure everyone gets what’s coming to them by Sunday is pretty demanding.
I still haven’t thought of a new pseudonym, perhaps I’ll stick with Serge after all.
